Please note that this poster was available for a limited time until 22 October 2016. Signed prints are still available through my print shop.
Happy Carers Week 2016 to all those family members, support people and unpaid carers who do so much for others. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
Seven years ago I founded the Caring Together Art Journal Project. The aim was to share the viewpoint of mental health carers in a positive way, support each other, and promote family friendly practice.
As a part of the project I started to share a free poster for Carers Week every year, to make sure that services had an easy way to acknowledge the contribution of carers. It felt so good to hear that people had walked into a ward that week and seen one of my posters up on the wall. Warm fuzzies all around 🙂
Anyway, I am sharing this year’s poster here too until the end of Carer’s week (22 October 2016), as I feel it has a much bigger relevance to carers than just within mental health. It is for non profit use (obviously), and please print and use it “as is” without any editing or cropping. Otherwise please feel free to share and use it as a way to say thank you to carers this week. Share the love!
The poster is only designed for Carers Week 2016, so the download will only be available for a limited time (until 22 October 2016). If you are interested in a signed print without watermarks, “Carers Strengths” is still available through my print shop.
