I had one day at the millhouse all to myself – a wonderful luxury for someone who is used to either being home looking after kids or at work all the time!

I really relished my quiet day. I had a big supply of fresh chocolate croissants, baguettes and cheese so I didn’t starve. And I had peace – lots of it.

I wandered around, taking my time to enjoy the different viewpoints, finally settling down on the little bridge just up from the millhouse. You can see the view. How lucky was I?
