Happy new year! I have every finger and too crossed in the hope that 2021 will be a vast improvement on 2020. My thoughts are especially with my friends who are experiencing hard times outside Australia.

For those a little nearer home, as my exhibition at the Fitzroy Library reaches its last few weeks I thought I'd share a story about where it all began - with the very first building in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, on the corner of Victoria Parade. I have tried to tie a little local history in, and I especially love the old photos and newspaper articles from the late 1800s. I hope you enjoy them too, and learn something new.
